OUR HOME HEALTH AIDES
A huge number of people need constant care. These are elderly people, people with disabilities, and seriously ill patients. Relatives due to employment or remote living cannot take all the chores and worries. Therefore, they turn to special services, the duty of which is professional patient care. Our Home Health Care Agency, NoLimits NYC Home Care can help your loved one, since medical institutions cannot provide long-term care for patients in the recovery period, and the services of private clinics are very expensive.
A health care aide performing caregiver duties is selected considering special education and personal qualities. Important points in the work of the home health aide are professionalism, integrity, the ability to build friendly relations with the client. Our agency providing the services of a home health aide is obliged to monitor and verify the work of the staff, to give good recommendations. The advantages of this type of service are the convenience of the client, who does not need to change his place of residence. The home health aide comes to the house and carries out the necessary procedures, which are listed in a personal care plan, provided by nurse.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A HOME HEALTH AIDE:
- Measuring body temperature, blood pressure. Medication reminders.
- Hygienic care for the patient's body (washing, wiping, treatment and preventing new bedsores).
- Replacing patient’s underwear and bedding, washing clothes in a washing machine.
- Maintenance of the cleanliness of the room where the patient is located (twice a week wet floor cleaning, dusting from horizontal surfaces).
- Cooking for the patient, taking into account his dietary features.
- Organization of leisure activities for the patient (reading books, board games, walks)
HIRING HOME HEALTH AIDE BENEFITS
A home health aide is a round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and an opportunity for relatives to be sure that their loved one:
- is under supervision
- takes medication on time
- receives timely hygiene care
- as well as proper nutrition.
If an elderly (disabled) person is able to go out, our staff will accompany him/her on walks and will be able to become not only his assistant, but also a good companion.
Therefore, faced with the problem of caring for a sick person, it is most convenient and beneficial to find a home health aide, caregiver with accommodation and live -in option.

What Is CDPAP?
At our NoLimits NYC Home Care, we often get questions about CDPAP from family members of a senior loved one. We also have many CDPAP patients enrolled in our exceptional programs for seniors. To get a clearer picture about what this program is, we are pleased to showcase the finer details of what Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Programs (CDPAP) has to offer.
Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program - CDPAP
Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), is a New York Medicaid program that allows eligible patients to receive home care services from a family member or friend. The program is intended to allow those with disabilities or other medical issues to be able to better control their own health care and to address their own individual health needs.
CDPAP lets people hire and direct home care workers of their choosing, so family members and friends may be eligible for compensation for providing home care. The patient or person acting on their behalf has all the responsibility of managing their home care services. Eligible services can include those provided by a home attendant, home health aide, or nurse
